The Green Perspective is a new company located in Philadelphia committed to a sustainable future and the green economy.
Our first line of business is the series of green gift offerings featured on this website. The gifts are
designed around common themes (like Green Your Kitchen) and at standard gift basket price points, but with a green twist.
The gifts include a variety of green items such as bamboo cutting boards, locally produced soap made from natural ingredients and compact fluorescent light (CFLs) bulbs. A book about different aspects of the green scene is also included because educating people about how they can help make a difference is critical to a more sustainable future. The items are placed in stylish containers such as bamboo bowls and reuseable bags which are themselves useful and green instead of standard baskets wrapped in disposable plastic.
We ship via United States Postal Service Flat Rate Priority which assures that your gift will get to its destination quickly (1-3 days). These USPS shipping materials have received the stringent cradle to cradle certification for their ecologically-intelligent design and the elimination of waste in their production. In addition we reuse and recycle packaging materials.
Over time we believe that green products will replace their conventional peers to become standard. In fact there is no reason at all they should not because green items are stylish, attractive, useful and better for us and our environment. We want to help make that vision a reality! Thats why we are focused on making it easy and educational to purchase green gifts.
